June 2008 Our kids need you! This summer, while school is out, 120,000 underprivileged children in our communities are at risk of being hungry. During this time, they won’t be receiving the reduced breakfasts and lunches that the schools would normally provide. Many of our partner agencies struggle to supply services for parents and grandparents seeking additional food to help feed their families. Consequently, the Food Bank’s need for food increases. We are committed to make a difference this summer and need your help! Plan to host a food or fund drive. For more information click here! |
